The Era Grande (Great Threshing Floor) is one of the most recognizable places in the municipality. Nowadays it is a park/viewpoint for the urban area, a very different function from the one it had in the past.

This unique space was used for threshing the annual crops by local farmers. This work consisted of separating the straw from the grain by pulling a large horse drawn rake, which was used to separate the straw from the grain.

Next to the great threshing floor, we find the small threshing floor, and in the rest of the area we can find up to four more threshing floors.
